Tania Akter, is a Ph.D. student in the Chemistry department. Before arriving at the University of Nevada, Reno, she completed her M.S. from the University of South Dakota in Material Chemistry where she specialized in electroanalytical and surface modification chemistry. Tania is from Bangaldesh, where she also completed her undergraduate studies. Her currently research focuses on catalysis and renewable energy-related works. Tania believes the Graduate Student Association (GSA) is a great place to behave in a broader aspect. She is enthusiastic about composing her prior experiences to make the journey more joyful. Besides working on her research, Tania enjoys cooking, social gathering and traveling.
